An Antiques Roadshow expert declined to appraise an item that a guest claimed to have "found in his garage." The beloved BBC program returned on Sunday (December 8), with Fiona Bruce once again hosting the show.
This episode brought the team to Beaumaris Castle in Anglesey, North Wales, where members of the public eagerly presented their cherished items for expert evaluation, as reported by The Express.
However, the show took an unexpected turn when expert Hilary Kay refused to appraise a particular item. A guest had brought in a brass rowlock mounted on a board, inscribed with "Titanic Lifeboat no. 3," believed to be a piece of the infamous ship's lifeboat.
The guest explained to Hilary that he discovered the artifact in the corner of his garage after moving into a new house. He remarked, "It was just in the corner really."
