ATLANTA – After a dominant start to the season that made them look like true Super Bowl contenders, the Buffalo Bills have now dropped to second place in the AFC East following their second straight loss — a humbling 24-14 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
The night was a disaster for Buffalo, as Atlanta completely outplayed them in every phase of the game. The final score hardly reflected how one-sided the matchup truly was.
Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense struggled mightily against Atlanta’s fast, physical defense, which kept Allen under constant pressure throughout the game. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s defense faltered early, allowing the Falcons to build a lead that proved too much to overcome, despite a stronger second half. Atlanta sealed the win with a clutch field goal with just 1:43 left on the clock. See more .........
